Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer (Contract)

Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain GCP infrastructure, including Kubernetes clusters and Cloud Run services.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, builds, and deployments.
- Monitor platform health, set up alerting, and respond to infrastructure incidents.
- Manage Elasticsearch, Redis / Valkey, and other data infrastructure components.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code practices for reproducible environments.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment workflows.
- Maintain security best practices across cloud infrastructure and access controls.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency with GCP services, particularly GKE (Kubernetes) and Cloud Run.
- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, or similar).
- Working knowledge of Elasticsearch cluster management and Redis / Valkey operations.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Pulumi, or similar).
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and monitoring in cloud environments.
