Base Salary
$133k - $184k/yr
Responsibilities
- Contribute to and extend Archimedes, Bosun, easyRAG, and other internal AI platforms
- Build reusable APIs, SDKs, templates, and shared services for safe AI-powered tools
- Prototype and productionize new AI capabilities alongside senior engineers
- Apply and refine standardized golden-path patterns for LLM usage
- Build standardized, observable, and governed AI assistants and workflows
- Apply evaluation, observability, and cost-management practices covering quality, latency, safety, and spend
- Partner with Security, Risk, and Legal on responsible AI guardrails
- Collaborate with engineers to embed AI into internal tools, workflows, and employee experiences
Requirements
- Experience as a software engineer shipping production-quality features in a distributed system or platform environment
- Hands-on experience with LLMs or ML services, or strong curiosity and demonstrated ability to ramp quickly into AI-specific tooling
- Solid coding skills in at least one of Python, Go, or TypeScript/JavaScript
- An emerging platform mindset focused on reuse and serving multiple consumers
- Familiarity with or eagerness to learn evaluation, prompt and version management, observability, cost control, safety, and data privacy for AI systems
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and ability to explain technical tradeoffs
