Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Holepunch peer-to-peer stack.
- Expand and support an ecosystem of more than 1,500 public npm modules.
- Build production-scale Node.js applications using modular, maintainable code.
- Create and manage reusable npm modules.
- Test and debug software.
- Optimize network protocols and systems for latency and throughput.
Requirements
- Proven experience developing Node.js applications at production scale.
- Strong ability to write modular, maintainable code.
- Experience creating and managing reusable npm modules.
- Strong testing and debugging skills.
- Deep interest or experience in P2P technologies or distributed systems.
- Comfort working in a remote, globally distributed team with strong communication skills.
- Experience with native Node.js extensions using C or C++ is preferred.
- Familiarity with advanced networking concepts is preferred.
- Open-source contributions, particularly in P2P or decentralized technology, are preferred.
