Base Salary
$248k - $279k/yr
Responsibilities
- Guide strategy and lead software engineering projects on a highly-autonomous security team.
- Consult on risk assessments, architectural designs, and code reviews.
- Develop and apply secure baselines for cloud and bare-metal resources.
- Secure software supply chains from development to production.
- Build and own user-friendly IAM systems promoting least privilege.
- Manage third-party vulnerabilities while supporting rapid growth.
- Partner cross-functionally for security monitoring and incident response.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience building and operating production systems.
- 5+ years of experience writing software in a general-purpose programming language.
- 4+ years of experience securing systems with millions of users.
- Experience as a tech lead for projects involving multiple engineers.
- Experience designing and building user-facing software.
- Experience securing cloud-based environments.
- Familiarity with container orchestration technologies.
- Experience with build and CI/CD technologies.
- Understanding of modern authentication and authorization protocols.
