Base Salary
$161k - $299k/yr
Responsibilities
- Enhance and support the Xcelium RTL/logic simulator engine by adding new features and extending existing functionality.
- Enhance and support timing-constraints verification technology within the Xcelium simulator.
- Design, tune, and innovate graph algorithms for SDC constraints on multi-billion-node graphs.
- Perform bottleneck analysis and implement C/C++ performance optimizations to improve compilation speed and memory footprint.
- Collaborate with global team members in a geographically distributed environment.
- Write software specifications and unit tests.
Requirements
- An MS or PhD in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
- At least 7 years of experience with an MS or at least 5 years with a PhD.
- At least 5 years of experience in EDA software development.
- Strong background in RTL/logic simulation, SDC constraints, and timing analysis, especially path-exception handling in a static timing analysis tool.
- Excellent C/C++ programming skills and a deep understanding of SystemVerilog or Verilog.
- Experience with multithreaded or concurrent programming.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to project requirements.
- Prior RTL/logic simulation software development experience is an added plus.
