Responsibilities
- Lead web and API automation initiatives.
- Perform functional testing and quality assurance activities, including SIT and UAT.
- Write, review, and execute test cases.
- Manage defect reporting, tracking, and the complete defect life cycle using JIRA.
- Conduct API manual testing with Postman.
- Use Git and GitHub for version control and Jenkins for test execution through CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand user-story requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of Quality Engineering experience, with 6–9 years specifically listed among the key skills.
- Strong understanding of functional testing and QA processes.
- Experience with SIT, UAT, defect management, enterprise projects, and preferably SAP environments.
- Experience with Git, GitHub, Jenkins, Postman, and JIRA.
- Knowledge of business process flows, software development life cycle, software test life cycle, and defect life cycle.
- Strong communication, presentation, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, CIS, or a related field.
