Responsibilities
- Define and maintain test strategy, architecture, roadmap, planning, estimation, execution governance, and quality reporting for CIS solutions.
- Lead functional, system integration, API, database, and UAT testing activities.
- Design scalable test automation frameworks using Selenium, Karate, Python, Shell Scripting, and Groovy.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab.
- Plan and execute load, stress, endurance, scalability, performance, failover, recovery, high-availability, and disaster-recovery testing.
- Analyze bottlenecks across application, database, middleware, infrastructure, and network layers, including thread and heap dumps for JVM performance tuning.
- Validate distributed systems, microservices, cloud-native architectures, and Infinispan or comparable in-memory data grids.
- Establish monitoring and troubleshooting practices using Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK Stack.
- Support production incident analysis, root-cause investigations, preventive quality improvements, technical presentations, customer discussions, design reviews, and solution assessments.
- Define quality objectives, track success metrics, mentor test engineers, and promote engineering best practices.
Requirements
- 8–15 years of experience in software testing, quality engineering, test architecture, or performance engineering.
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience with CIS Solutions is mandatory.
- Strong experience developing test strategy and architecture for enterprise-scale distributed systems.
- Experience with high-transaction environments, preferably 10,000+ TPS.
- Preferred experience with telecom platforms, large-scale transaction processing, Infinispan or comparable data grids, production incident analysis, performance tuning, highly available geographically distributed systems, cloud-native platforms, and containerized deployments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently, solve problems analytically, manage stakeholders, communicate complex technical concepts, present to technical and customer audiences, own quality outcomes, and mentor engineers.
- Academic credentials must be from recognized and accredited institutions and are subject to verification.
