Base Salary
$87k - $198k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee a software development team delivering custom tools, systems, and websites.
- Implement, maintain, and support software development for system modernization.
- Develop back-end components, APIs, application systems, and data-storage solutions for enterprise applications.
- Optimize data and application performance through testing, benchmarking, and maintenance.
- Mentor or supervise employees and contribute to solution development, risk identification, and client workflow automation.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience implementing, maintaining, and supporting software development for system modernization.
- 8+ years of software development experience using programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks.
- Experience with software engineering, product management, software products, Agile methodology, and extreme programming.
- Experience developing enterprise application back-end technology, data-storage solutions, performance testing, benchmarking, and data optimization.
- Experience mentoring or supervising employees.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years of software engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
- Preferred experience with Java, JavaScript, SQL, Python, server-side development, middleware, application or data integration, API development, core application systems, Node.js, Groovy, Scala, Spring Cloud, Spring Core, Spring Boot, or Spring Data.
- Preferred experience writing application source code, acquiring client requirements, resolving workflow problems through automation, and using automated testing tools.
- A Secret clearance and master’s degree are preferred.
