Base Salary
$87k - $198k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead a back-end development team in delivering custom tools, systems, and sites.
- Implement, maintain, and support software development used to modernize systems.
- Develop enterprise application components and user-facing system infrastructure.
- Design data storage solutions, run performance testing and benchmarking, and optimize data performance.
- Develop and maintain APIs, middleware, application integrations, and core application systems.
- Mentor or supervise employees and help resolve client workflow problems through automation optimization.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience implementing, maintaining, and supporting software development.
- At least 8 years of software development experience using programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks.
- Experience with software engineering, product management, software products, and Agile methodology.
- Experience developing enterprise application components, data storage solutions, and performance optimization.
- Experience mentoring or supervising employees.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of software engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
- Preferred experience with Java, JavaScript, SQL, Python, server-side development, middleware, application or data integration, API development, core application systems, Node.js, Groovy, Scala, Spring Cloud, Spring Core, Spring Boot, or Spring Data.
- Preferred experience writing application source code, acquiring client requirements, resolving workflow problems through automation, and using automated testing tools.
- A Secret clearance and master's degree are preferred.
