Responsibilities
- Partner with startups to identify where Codex can improve how their teams build and ship software.
- Design and lead technical talks, live demos, workshops, hackathons, and repeatable hands-on programs.
- Build Codex workflows, integrations, and automations for selected customers and resolve technical blockers.
- Evaluate the effectiveness and reliability of customer workflows.
- Create reusable code examples, guides, and tools for Codex and OpenAI’s broader platform.
- Collaborate with account teams, developer experience, and ecosystem partners to drive customer value and startup adoption.
- Translate customer experiences and developer feedback into actionable insights for Product, Research, and Engineering teams.
Requirements
- Experience building at, founding, or working closely with early-stage startups.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and an interest in building practical AI applications, integrations, and developer tools.
- Active use of Codex or other AI coding tools with a thoughtful perspective on improving software development.
- Strong presentation, live demonstration, workshop facilitation, and technical communication skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical ideas clearly and create engaging examples and reusable resources.
- Developer empathy, technical judgment, troubleshooting ability, and the ability to support effective and reliable workflows.
- High agency, curiosity, independent execution, collaboration, and end-to-end ownership.
