Responsibilities
- Deploy Google Distributed Cloud air-gapped solutions at customer sites and in internal reference environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues involving networks, storage, servers, operating systems, and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with customers and internal development organizations to achieve deployment goals.
- Participate in customer, partner, and internal deployments and training requiring international travel.
- Contribute to train-the-trainer programs that enable Google partners to conduct customer deployments independently.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of experience automating infrastructure provisioning, developer operations, continuous integration or delivery, or designing, building, and deploying cloud-based solution architectures.
- Experience with physical and virtual infrastructure, operating systems, or virtualization.
- Experience using scripting and development languages such as Python, Go, or Bash for automation.
- Experience with Linux, Docker, or Kubernetes technologies, or with Windows and Active Directory environments.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a level 2 SÜ2 security clearance under the German Classification Act.
- Google Cloud or Google Distributed Cloud certifications and advanced architectural and operational knowledge are preferred.
- Experience with large-scale public-sector engagements, regulated-customer cloud transformation programs, emerging cloud technologies, and collaboration with partners or systems integrators is preferred.
Benefits
- Germany base pay is €100000–€102000 plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
- The role includes international travel for customer, partner, and internal deployments and training.
