Responsibilities
- Lead customer technical validation processes through presentations, demonstrations, deep dives, and workshops.
- Conduct discovery, analysis, design, and Red Hat Ansible workshops for technical and non-technical customer teams.
- Scope evaluations and guide customers through proofs of concept and pilot deployments.
- Architect solutions that align customer business needs with Red Hat capabilities and support successful implementation.
- Coordinate with Product Engineering, Professional Services, Support, Sales, and internal product teams to deliver strong customer experiences.
- Contribute to repeatable methodologies and tools that scale services capabilities and reduce delivery risk.
- Provide thought leadership through white papers, webinars, code contributions, conference presentations, and Ansible community participation.
- Build relationships with engineering, commercial, and executive stakeholders at large enterprise IT organizations.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience working in the automation space.
- 3–5 years of experience as a developer, solution architect, enterprise architect, or consulting delivery professional focused on automation.
- Advanced knowledge of Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform and demonstrated ability to automate infrastructure, networking—especially Cisco—and security solutions.
- Experience architecting and implementing automation solutions with tools such as Puppet, Chef, SaltStack, and Terraform.
- Good knowledge of UNIX or Linux systems, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Red Hat Satellite.
- Understanding of automation market trends and experience engaging with C-level customers.
- Proven ability to orchestrate proofs of concept from initiation through business closure.
- Strong relationship-building skills across engineering, commercial, and executive levels in large enterprise IT organizations.
- Fluency in German and English.
- Red Hat certifications such as Red Hat Certified Engineer, Red Hat Certified Specialist in Managing Automation with Ansible Automation Platform, or Red Hat Certified Architect are highly desirable.
- A degree in Computing and/or Engineering is desirable.
