Base Salary
$61k - $122k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define software development requirements with customers.
- Provide bug fixes, new features, code cleanup, and other development support.
- Provide Tier 1–3 IT support for more than 1,200 users through phone, functional mailbox, leadership, and in-person channels.
- Troubleshoot software and hardware issues.
- Create SOPs, user guides, Navy IT process documentation, and documentation for completed software development.
- Maintain and implement minor features for a PHP web server.
- Convert the existing PHP web server solution to Python.
Requirements
- Relevant degree in software development or a related field.
- Comfort developing in PHP and Python.
- Must have or be able to obtain a Secret or interim Secret clearance.
- Must have or be able to achieve CompTIA Security+ certification before the start date.
- Ability to balance multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and written skills.
- Previous Navy environment and professional IT experience are desired.
- Advanced PHP and Python development skills are desired.
