Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
- Build scalable, maintainable, secure, and performance-optimized software.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements and solution strategies.
- Participate in code reviews and promote code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Apply secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities and protect sensitive data.
- Implement unit and automated testing practices to ensure reliability and code quality.
- Contribute to technology communities and stay current with technology trends.
- Where applicable, lead and supervise team members, allocate work, coordinate resources, and support professional development.
- Manage risks, strengthen controls, follow applicable policies and regulations, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience with Java 8, 17, or 21; Spring Boot 3; and Spring Security.
- Experience with React JS or React Native, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Redux.
- Knowledge of message queue services such as JMS, ActiveMQ, or RabbitMQ is valued.
- Knowledge of JPA/Hibernate, PostgreSQL, or MySQL and microservices architecture is valued.
- Experience with Docker, GitLab CI/CD, Maven or Gradle, JUnit, Jest, or React Testing Library is valued.
- Requires in-depth technical knowledge and experience in the assigned area of expertise.
- Ability to analyze information, resolve technical problems, advise decision-making, communicate complex information, and collaborate across functions.
- Understanding of risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, and digital and technology skills.
