Responsibilities
- Partner with Product and Design to define, build, and evolve user experiences using modern frontend technologies.
- Own and evolve frontend architecture for scalability, performance, accessibility, and maintainability.
- Design and implement frontend systems using React, TypeScript, and Next.js, including server-side rendering, routing, data fetching, and performance optimization.
- Establish frontend engineering standards covering patterns, tooling, testing strategies, and CI/CD practices.
- Drive cross-team technical initiatives involving frontend architecture, backend APIs, platform capabilities, and product strategy.
- Identify technical risks and opportunities and provide technical direction and trade-off analysis.
- Mentor and guide frontend engineers on code quality, architecture, and delivery practices.
- Build unit, integration, and UI automation tests.
- Define and monitor frontend performance, reliability, and user behavior metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field involving coding, or equivalent technical experience.
- Expert proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
- Strong experience with frontend architecture, state management, component design, design systems, micro-frontends or modular architectures, and performance optimization.
- Experience building and operating production web applications using server-side and client-side rendering.
- Deep understanding of software engineering practices including testing, code reviews, observability, and operational excellence.
- At least 4 years of industry experience with significant frontend or web platform depth.
- Experience with cloud-based environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, particularly for frontend delivery and integration.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot, Cursor, or LLMs is preferred.
