Base Salary
$192k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Work with engineers across the company to build new features and products end-to-end.
- Own problems end-to-end, considering user experience, data models, scalability, operability, and ongoing metrics.
- Provide technical leadership by driving roadmap direction, architectural design, and mentorship.
- Collaborate with user-facing teams to understand customer needs.
- Tune and polish features to a high degree of excellence.
- Identify and implement reliability and performance improvements.
- Uphold high engineering standards and bring consistency to codebases, infrastructure, and processes.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience designing, developing, and deploying full-stack products.
- Strong proficiency in backend programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, or Python.
- Experience architecting, building, and maintaining scalable, high-availability distributed systems.
- Experience designing and optimizing SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
- Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services.
- Familiarity with modern frontend technologies like ES6+, React, TypeScript, and Webpack.
