Responsibilities
- Design integrated software architectures for embedded AD/ADAS systems.
- Gather, analyze, define, and prioritize functional and non-functional requirements.
- Design AD/ADAS software architectures that optimally satisfy prioritized requirements.
- Determine CPU and software-component allocation and design software scheduling while accounting for hardware constraints.
- Design and manage hardware resource usage, including memory, and evaluate processing load and memory size.
- Develop mitigation plans when hardware resource limits are exceeded.
- Create software architecture strategies and development processes.
Requirements
- Knowledge of software architecture design and embedded software development, with approximately four or more years of practical experience in embedded software development.
- Practical experience gathering, analyzing, and defining requirements for embedded software development.
- Knowledge of software development for SoC-based embedded systems with multicore processors, GPUs, and hardware accelerators.
- Knowledge of software platforms and middleware such as POSIX, RTOS, Ubuntu, ROS, or QNX.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, Python, Java, JavaScript, and C#.
- Business-level or higher Japanese proficiency.
- English proficiency equivalent to a TOEIC score of 600 or higher.
- A master's or doctoral degree in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- AD or ADAS development experience is preferred.
