Responsibilities
- Define and evolve architecture strategy, reference models, and target states across Network Power Solutions.
- Shape technology direction through standardization, simplification, and platform investments.
- Coordinate cross-domain initiatives involving resilience, security, compliance, observability, and developer experience.
- Champion architecture governance using ADRs and Well-Architected practices.
- Translate business needs into scalable solutions with engineering and product leaders.
- Provide hands-on architectural support for complex technical challenges.
- Communicate architectural vision and decisions to technical and business stakeholders.
- Mentor engineers and architects and contribute to internal architecture communities and best practices.
- Guide adoption of effective AI-assisted engineering patterns across design, coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
Requirements
- Demonstrable senior architecture experience spanning multiple teams, products, or shared platforms.
- Experience using architecture to deliver measurable business value and reduce unnecessary costs.
- Deep expertise in AWS cloud-native and distributed systems architectures.
- Strong Java experience.
- Strong experience with SaaS, API-based, and developer-facing platforms; CPaaS or communications experience is a plus.
- Proficiency with microservices, Kubernetes, event-driven architectures using Kafka, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience applying capability mapping, ADRs, and C4 diagrams in practical ways.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, including the ability to align stakeholders and drive decisions without formal authority.
- Experience balancing architectural consistency with team autonomy in fast-moving engineering organizations.
- Experience with Network APIs is a plus.
- AWS, Kubernetes, or related cloud certifications are a plus.
- Knowledge and experience working within an Agile methodology are a plus.
