Responsibilities
- Understand client requirements, liaise with stakeholders, and communicate with managers.
- Implement and maintain highly available and scalable citizen-facing and private services and applications.
- Implement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies across Azure cloud environments.
- Provide feedback to project teams on platform performance and operation.
- Advise developers on system usage and CI/CD pipeline configuration.
- Automate and improve development and release processes.
Requirements
- Active SC security clearance or equivalent government security clearance, with the ability to maintain clearance throughout employment.
- Proven experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering roles.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or Bamboo.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes containerization and orchestration.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages.
- Experience with Ansible, Puppet, or Chef configuration management tools.
- Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk, or Datadog.
- Strong understanding of Linux administration, networking, cloud security, and DevSecOps principles.
- Experience working in Agile and DevOps delivery environments.
