Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test software for board-level, equipment-level, and subsystem-level testing.
- Define hardware and software architectures for test scenarios and Hardware-in-the-Loop environments.
- Develop desktop and real-time LabVIEW applications on platforms such as PXI and cRIO.
- Integrate and configure NI VeriStand in real-time test setups.
- Define NI TestStand automation workflows and integrate them into system test processes.
- Implement real-time data handling and I/O configuration through NI hardware and LabVIEW RT.
- Support test execution, data acquisition, logging, automated reporting, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Create architecture specifications, code documentation, and user guides.
- Collaborate with electrical, avionics, and systems engineers on requirements traceability, test coverage, and hardware/software integration.
- Contribute to scalable, modular, reliable, maintainable, and space-grade HiL infrastructure.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in LabVIEW, including desktop and real-time application development.
- Hands-on experience with NI VeriStand in real-time test environments.
- Familiarity with NI TestStand for test automation and execution management.
- Understanding of test platform architectures, hardware/software integration, and real-time systems.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills with a structured and methodical approach.
- Experience with LabVIEW FPGA is appreciated.
- Ability to write and integrate Python scripts for test workflows and automation tasks.
- Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate across disciplines, drive initiatives, and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
