Responsibilities
- Manage and operate Azure IaaS and PaaS infrastructure across hybrid on-premises and Azure environments.
- Monitor and maintain service availability, reliability, SLA compliance, and SLO compliance.
- Perform incident, problem, and change management in alignment with ITIL practices.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and conduct root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
- Design and implement Azure landing zones, networking, identity, compute, and other cloud solutions.
- Support cloud migration, modernization, solution validation, readiness activities, and go-live support.
- Develop standardized and reusable infrastructure-as-code templates using Bicep and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
- Design and automate Azure DevOps build, release, infrastructure deployment, and configuration management processes.
- Promote version-controlled infrastructure, automated testing, continuous delivery, and DevOps practices.
- Implement SRE practices including SLO and SLA tracking, error budgets, reliability engineering, and blameless postmortems.
- Improve observability, operational performance, capacity, resource utilization, scalability, and cloud cost control.
- Collaborate with architects, engineering and operations teams, stakeholders, and customers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Requirements
- Strong experience operating and engineering Azure cloud infrastructure, including enterprise IaaS and PaaS services.
- Experience with hybrid infrastructure environments combining on-premises systems and Azure, including networking, identity, and security.
- Hands-on Infrastructure as Code experience with Bicep or ARM/Terraform, focused on standardization, automation, and governance.
- Experience designing and implementing Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments.
- Knowledge of cloud observability and monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and Grafana.
- Experience applying SRE principles, including SLO/SLA management, incident reduction, and automation-driven operations.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex cloud and platform production environments.
- Familiarity with ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Experience with cloud optimization involving performance, scalability, resource utilization, and cost control, with FinOps awareness.
- Ability to contribute to modernization initiatives involving IaC adoption, observability maturity, and AIOps.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across engineering, operations, architecture, and customer stakeholders.
