Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and collaborate with internal teams on software design and architecture.
- Develop, test, deploy, refactor, debug, and maintain enterprise identity cloud applications and services.
- Build new programs from scratch while maintaining existing services.
- Create documentation throughout the software development life cycle.
- Serve as an application expert and provide technical support.
- Contribute to application development, solution architecture, delivery, and process improvement.
Requirements
- 18+ years of software engineering experience.
- Expert-level experience with Java, Spring Framework, REST, and microservices-based applications.
- Strong Java engineering experience applying security principles and working with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, SQL, Elasticsearch, Redis, CI/CD, Git, automated deployments, and continuous integration.
- Experience with unit, functional, and system integration testing, including JUnit test cases.
- Experience with IntelliJ, Eclipse, or MyEclipse; Maven or Ant; and GitHub or GitLab.
- Experience with Groovy on Grails is a plus.
- Experience working in Agile environments using Scrum and Kanban.
- Experience using AI development tools such as Amazon Q, GitHub Copilot, and Cursor in the software development life cycle.
- Experience taking on increasing responsibility across application development, solution architecture, design and delivery, and process improvement.
