Base Salary

$117k - $234k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product, project, and user experience teams to define designs for small to medium projects.
  • Develop, test, and deliver scalable and maintainable software aligned with technical and business requirements.
  • Troubleshoot production and business issues through root cause analysis and coordinated action plans.
  • Manage complex projects from requirements gathering through deployment and timely delivery.
  • Provide technical guidance to users and peers and identify sustainable solutions.
  • Mentor small engineering teams through documentation, direction, and oversight.
  • Implement automation scripts and telemetry features to improve development and monitoring processes.
  • Support PostgreSQL databases and contribute extensions and plugins using C.
  • Support continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines and testing efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related area plus two years of experience in software engineering or a related area, or four years of such experience.
  • Experience with software design, development, debugging, object-oriented programming, and languages such as C.
  • Knowledge of API design, platform development, and component services.
  • Experience translating requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions and managing complex projects.
  • Experience with iterative and incremental development and Agile practices.
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines and automation scripting.
  • Skill in root cause analysis, defect management, and production troubleshooting.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and provide technical guidance to peers.
  • Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related area.
  • Preferred accessibility knowledge includes WCAG 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices.
