Responsibilities
- Design, plan, develop, and own complex backend services and cloud infrastructure for the mobile platform.
- Build and optimize backend APIs and microservices with Spring Boot.
- Design architectures and deploy services to Kubernetes and AWS.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure processes with infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Define quality, performance, and scalability standards across product development stages.
- Collaborate with mobile developers, product owners, UX/UI designers, platform teams, and other stakeholders.
- Develop data-driven applications and contribute to data modeling and scalable database design.
- Mentor and coach team members while driving technical decisions and project ownership.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in backend development with Spring Boot.
- Strong knowledge of Kotlin and/or Java.
- Practical experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and AWS services.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Deep understanding of microservice architectures, API design, and cloud-native patterns.
- Experience with data modeling and scalable database structures is preferred.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
- Experience with agile development methods such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Corporate and startup experience is preferred.
- Good German and English language skills.
