Responsibilities
- Write test scripts and automated test cases providing end-to-end coverage across cloud, UI, and firmware.
- Perform manual and automated testing for Alexa Connect Kit software and smart home device integrations.
- Establish and maintain a high quality bar in collaboration with engineering teams.
- Develop and execute test plans and define quality metrics.
- Participate in design discussions, planning, and sprint retrospectives.
- Lead QA activities on medium- to large-sized projects and communicate with business and technical partners.
Requirements
- 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience.
- Experience with manual testing and automation testing.
- Experience scripting or coding.
- Experience serving as a QA lead on medium- to large-sized projects.
- Strong computer science fundamentals, knowledge of IoT systems, and experience testing software applications.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Preferred: experience with an automated test framework such as Selenium or Appium.
- Preferred: experience gathering test requirements, creating detailed test plans, and defining product quality metrics.
