Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to end users and application developers for a managed Kubernetes cluster solution deployed at the edge.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, deployment, and performance issues in cloud environments.
- Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads for scalability, reliability, and security.
- Log, monitor, and resolve incidents; augment the knowledge base and provide status reporting.
- Maintain cloud-native infrastructure and platform services supporting enterprise applications.
- Maintain monitoring, logging, tracing, and observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Jaeger, and related technologies.
- Maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform and related automation tools.
- Use GitOps practices with FluxCD, Helm, and Kubernetes for infrastructure and application lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to maintain and upgrade scalable cloud-native solutions.
- Develop automation scripts and internal tools to improve operational efficiency and platform reliability.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex issues in scalable and resilient cloud-native environments.
- High proficiency in English.
- Expertise with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Expertise with Docker and container technologies.
- Expertise with cloud computing, including AWS or AliCloud and compute, networking, and security configurations such as VPCs and security groups.
- Expertise with Helm and Kustomize.
- Expertise with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with GitOps, including FluxCD.
- Experience with CI/CD automation.
- Experience with observability technologies including Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Jaeger, and Thanos.
- Experience with Python and Bash scripting.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and distributed tracing.
- Knowledge of DevOps and platform engineering.
