Base Salary
$181k - $241k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the design, scalability, and reliability of build pipelines across multiple services and platforms.
- Optimize build times, test coverage, reporting, and developer feedback cycles.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response for continuous integration systems.
- Improve developer productivity through tooling, automation, integrations, and engineering best practices.
- Drive the vision and strategy for continuous integration and developer productivity infrastructure.
- Lead and mentor CI engineers and partner with engineering leadership on technical direction.
Requirements
- Proven experience driving and leading engineering efforts in continuous integration, build systems, or developer productivity.
- Strong experience with modern build systems such as GitHub, Buildkite, and Artifactory.
- Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Strong programming experience in Python, Kotlin, Java, or similar languages.
- Experience managing build systems and frameworks for large monorepos.
- Ability to make technical decisions, balance long-term vision with short-term impact, and solve complex systems challenges.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Active open-source contribution or large-scale software development experience at a leading technology company is preferred.
