Base Salary
$160k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Embed with customer teams as a hands-on technical partner and own technical implementation success across multiple Harness modules.
- Design and implement CI/CD, infrastructure, and DevSecOps workflows tailored to customer architectures.
- Lead onboarding, implementation, enablement, and platform-adoption programs.
- Architect integrated solutions spanning pipelines, infrastructure, security, and cost optimization.
- Advise engineering and platform leadership, develop success plans, and lead technical and business reviews.
- Analyze usage, pipeline performance, and adoption data to identify gaps, opportunities, and mitigation strategies.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success on roadmap feedback, expansion, renewals, reference architectures, and enablement content.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in software engineering, solutions architecture, DevOps, or technical consulting.
- Experience in deeply technical, customer-facing roles, ideally in forward deployed, consulting, or professional services settings.
- Proven ability to lead complex implementations and drive customer outcomes.
- Experience across multiple listed cloud, infrastructure, container, orchestration, CI/CD, scripting, and programming technologies.
- Knowledge of secure pipeline design, policy enforcement, SAST, DAST, SCA, or software supply chain security concepts is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, stakeholder-influence, hands-on building, adaptability, and continuous-learning skills.
- Preferred experience with Solutions Architect, Customer Success Engineer, Professional Services, or Forward Deployed Engineer roles; platform engineering or internal developer platforms; relevant AWS, Kubernetes, or Terraform certifications; and security or application security practices.
- Must be located on the West Coast within the United States.
