Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance platform software using C and C++.
- Perform board bring-up, platform integration, and hardware-software validation.
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot Linux kernel drivers and platform services.
- Work with SONiC-based networking solutions, containers, networking features, routing, switching, and platform integration.
- Work with SONiC Configuration DB, State DB, and Redis database architecture.
- Support network management platforms, protocols, and device management solutions.
- Integrate and validate ASICs, DSPs, FPGAs, Flash, and Ethernet devices.
- Work with low-level hardware interfaces including I2C, SPI, PCIe, GPIO, UART, SerDes, and SGMII.
Requirements
- Experience developing platform software with C and C++.
- Experience or exposure to SONiC networking concepts, including routing, switching, platform integration, and troubleshooting.
- Experience or exposure to Linux kernel drivers, platform services, containers, and SONiC database architecture.
- Experience or exposure to network management platforms, protocols, and device management solutions.
- Ability to integrate and validate hardware components including ASICs, DSPs, FPGAs, Flash, and Ethernet devices.
- Exposure to L0/L1 optical networking products, architectures, and technologies is desirable.
