Responsibilities
- Architect end-to-end solutions across application, integration, data, and platform layers for strategic and tactical initiatives.
- Own technical capability roadmaps, technical risks, mitigation plans, and technology evaluation decisions.
- Ensure architecture aligns with enterprise standards and incorporates reliability, performance, maintainability, supportability, security, monitoring, and logging requirements.
- Lead developers through software design, implementation decisions, code creation and review, and robust testing.
- Coordinate security architecture and governance approval readiness with enterprise security teams.
- Partner with business, product, and enterprise architects to translate requirements into technical solutions and guide multiple Agile teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 15+ years of significant experience in solution architecture and delivery in complex, multi-team, cross-functional environments.
- At least 5 years of finance-domain experience and 2 years in the investment domain; custody experience is a plus.
- Strong solution design, stakeholder management, communication, decision-making, prioritization, and enterprise-standard alignment skills.
- Hands-on programming experience, preferably with Java, and experience building large-scale, resilient, elastically scalable cloud-native streaming applications.
- Experience with Azure Cloud, Terraform, containerized microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, data warehousing, backup and disaster recovery.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, and Azure security and governance services.
