Responsibilities
- Design and develop cloud implementations and application modernization solutions.
- Write high-quality code and resolve complex technical issues across distributed systems.
- Provide solution architecture and guidance for secure, reliable application deployment and infrastructure modernization.
- Apply continuous integration practices, including source control management, build automation, unit testing, and dependency management.
- Develop and provision GCP services using Terraform and support Docker and Kubernetes-based deployments.
- Participate in Agile squad activities, Scrum ceremonies, planning, and continuous improvement.
- Lead or contribute to development chapter activities and manage task priorities and deliverables.
- Collaborate with product owners, analysts, Scrum Masters, and squad members to achieve sprint objectives.
- Design, program, enhance, maintain, and troubleshoot applications in line with IT application life cycle standards.
- Use AI tools responsibly to improve productivity and workflows while applying judgment to data and AI outputs.
Requirements
- 13–15 years of relevant experience.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field, with experience in software/system engineering or a lead position.
- Excellent knowledge of Java, J2EE, and the Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Cloud, and Spring Batch.
- Strong experience with microservice architecture, cloud delivery models, infrastructure automation, continuous integration/deployment, security, and networking.
- Required experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code and GCP service provisioning.
- Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes or Google Kubernetes Engine.
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD, preferably using Jenkins and scripting languages.
- Experience with databases including Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MySQL, as well as SQL/NoSQL technologies.
- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and ReactJS, and CSS frameworks.
- Experience with web servers, REST web services, JMS/MQ messaging, application servers, batch processing, security concepts, and end-to-end testing and debugging.
- Experience working with global and local teams in a collaborative Agile environment.
- Solution architecture experience in complex environments and the ability to learn and adopt new technologies.
- Experience with Documentum, FileNet, or SharePoint is preferred.
- Knowledge of caching technologies such as Hazelcast, Memcached, or Redis is preferred.
