Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain backend server-side software modules and product features.
- Build high-performance, responsive components for a distributed SaaS platform handling large-scale data.
- Design, manage, and optimize databases and integrate third-party APIs at scale.
- Work end to end on software development and collaborate across teams.
- Review code and designs while guiding and mentoring junior team members.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience building global-scale distributed SaaS applications, preferably in a product company.
- Hands-on experience with Go, Python, C, C++, or Java on Unix/Linux or Windows.
- Strong experience designing, managing, and optimizing databases.
- Strong programming, data structures, algorithms, and software design skills.
- Experience with service-oriented architecture and cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
- Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere or ESXi; AHV, Hyper-V, or other hypervisors are a plus.
- Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Computer Science, such as B.Tech, B.E., M.E., or M.Tech.
- Knowledge of security or data protection domains and working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes are desirable.
- Ability to effectively use generative AI while applying sound judgment regarding correctness, security, performance, maintainability, and code quality.
- Strong written, verbal, communication, and cross-team collaboration skills.
