Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deliver, and improve high-quality Salesforce software solutions.
- Build, review, and maintain Apex classes, triggers, asynchronous Apex, tests, custom APIs, integrations, Aura components, and Lightning Web Components.
- Configure Salesforce features including Lightning flows, validation rules, approval processes, and FlexiPages.
- Manage source control and deployments using Git, change sets, Salesforce DX/Salesforce CLI, Developer Console, and Visual Studio Code.
- Translate simple to complex user requirements into functional Salesforce software.
- Apply scalable, maintainable, performant, and secure coding practices, including effective unit testing.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and stakeholders through requirements definition, solution design, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to risk management, controls, governance, policy development, and operational effectiveness.
- Lead or guide collaborative assignments and communicate complex information to stakeholders and team members.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Salesforce security levels, access handling, sharing and visibility, and data modeling.
- Experience with Salesforce out-of-the-box features and configuration, point-and-click customizations, and automations.
- Good expertise in Apex development, including Apex classes, triggers, asynchronous Apex, tests, dynamic Apex, and Apex callouts.
- Experience developing Aura and Lightning Web Components and using JavaScript.
- Experience with Salesforce source control and deployment tools, including Git, change sets, and Salesforce DX/Salesforce CLI.
- Experience with real-time and batch integrations using SOAP, REST, Bulk API, and custom APIs.
- Experience with data migration using Apex Data Loader or other data-loading tools.
- Preferred experience with Financial Services Cloud, Force.com customization, Visualforce, and Salesforce Lightning.
- Knowledge of structured change environments such as banking, financial services, or fintech is valued.
- Salesforce Developer certifications are preferred.
- Ability to learn new concepts quickly and understand client requirements.
- Experience with risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, and digital and technology skills is valued.
