Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimize SQL queries for operational reporting, performance analysis, and incident investigation.
- Analyze and transform data from multiple systems using SQL and scripting.
- Build and maintain Elasticsearch and Kibana dashboards for monitoring, observability, and root-cause analysis.
- Improve log parsing, data quality, and query performance to support SRE observability.
- Collaborate with SRE, engineering, and operations teams to improve service stability and data accessibility.
- Progressively take on SRE responsibilities involving CI/CD pipelines, automation, and cloud platforms.
- Troubleshoot system issues, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend workflow improvements.
- Contribute to cross-team initiatives and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in SRE, operations, or data-focused roles.
- Strong hands-on SQL skills and experience with operational or analytical databases.
- Experience with Elasticsearch and Kibana or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with DevOps fundamentals, CI/CD, deployments, and infrastructure concepts.
- Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell and Linux command-line experience.
- Exposure to cloud platforms, infrastructure as code, or monitoring tools is a plus.
