Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain game server-side feature modules to ensure stable, efficient, and secure services.
  • Implement and optimize core server systems, including user data, battle logic, and related supporting modules.
  • Continuously improve server-side performance and diagnose and resolve technical issues in production and testing environments.
  • Develop server-side tools to improve development and operations efficiency.
  • Collaborate with client, design, and other teams to implement features and deliver the intended player experience.
  • Track server-side technology trends and apply effective practices and new technologies to the project.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in computer science or a related field.
  • At least two years of server-side development experience.
  • Proficiency in C++, Java, or Golang, with strong coding and debugging skills.
  • Experience developing and optimizing high-concurrency and distributed systems and common middleware such as message queues, caches, and databases.
  • Ability to independently own the development, testing, and maintenance of modules or business features.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, including the ability to resolve live business issues efficiently.
  • Good cross-team communication and collaboration skills.
  • Client/server architecture experience is preferred.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins is preferred.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker is preferred.
