Responsibilities
- Own infrastructure across production, development, and other environments.
- Build and maintain a cloud-agnostic Infrastructure-as-Code structure.
- Facilitate deployments and contribute to infrastructure architecture and best practices.
- Write tools and systems to automate, explore, and report on infrastructure.
- Automate metrics collection and analysis for performance tuning and fault finding.
- Design and implement shared infrastructure components such as configuration, secrets storage, and container orchestration.
- Provision accounts and equipment and maintain technical specifications and diagrams.
- Perform root-cause analyses and investigate infrastructure issues through code and logs.
- Develop proofs of concept and apply current engineering, security, and compliance practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a similar engineering major.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Technical Operations Engineer or in a similar role such as DevOps, NetOps, SecOps, Systems Administration, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- High proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code principles.
- Experience engineering infrastructure for SaaS products or platforms and cloud-based infrastructure.
- Experience with message or event queues and container-based infrastructure.
- Experience with Terraform and Ansible.
- Experience with multiple frameworks, databases, services, and tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience working collaboratively with engineering teams.
- Experience communicating directly with clients.
- Valid US work authorization.
- Experience with AWS and/or Azure is preferred.
- A master’s degree, HealthTech experience, information security knowledge, and Spanish or Ukrainian proficiency are preferred or advantageous.
