Base Salary
$185k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, available, and compliant application workloads in virtualized and containerized environments.
- Develop and sustain automated CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and configuration-management workflows across development, integration, staging, and production.
- Provision and maintain developer environments and toolchains that support secure and efficient software delivery.
- Identify and reduce developer friction throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Build customer trust by delivering creative, technically sound solutions aligned with mission needs.
- Support incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement for production systems.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret clearance or higher is required.
- Certification meeting DoD 8140 requirements, such as Security+ or higher, is required.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field is preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
- At least seven years of experience in software development, systems engineering, or operations supporting production-system availability, performance, and reliability is required.
- Experience combining software engineering and systems administration practices for highly available, scalable applications is required.
- Experience designing and managing monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions against defined Service Level Objectives is required.
- Experience with incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement is required.
- Experience with Ansible, Desired State Configuration, GitLab CI/CD automation, Bash scripting, Kubernetes storage, object storage, and enterprise load balancing is required.
- Ability to contribute immediately with minimal ramp-up in a mission-critical operational environment is required.
