Base Salary

$184k - $285k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and operate Kubernetes and container platforms supporting mission-critical workloads.
  • Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
  • Ensure platform scalability, reliability, performance, and security.
  • Participate in Agile planning, execution, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in complex environments.
  • Communicate platform status, risks, and technical decisions to stakeholders.
  • Deliver innovative technical solutions and maintain customer trust through engineering expertise and professionalism.
  • Lead or assist with the design and implementation of complex integrated container platforms.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator and Terraform Associate certifications are required.
  • A DoD 8140 certification aligned to the 451 System Administrator work role is required, such as Security+, Cloud+, SSCP, CASP+, or CISSP.
  • At least 6 years of systems or DevOps engineering experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on Kubernetes and container technology experience, is required.
  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift is required.
  • Experience operating scalable, reliable, and secure containerized environments in enterprise or mission-critical settings is required.
  • Experience managing CI/CD pipelines, container build processes, infrastructure automation, container runtimes, orchestration tooling, and supporting services is required.
  • Experience with Rancher, Helm, Docker, Cilium, Rook, Ceph, MinIO, S3, and PortWorx is required.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline is preferred; relevant experience may substitute for education requirements.
  • Ability to contribute immediately with minimal ramp-up in a mission-critical operational environment is required.
