Responsibilities
- Develop enterprise-wide cross-functional software solutions.
- Use SQL and object-oriented programming, preferably in a C# and .NET environment.
- Perform full-stack development and participate in solution design.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical requirements, design documents, and technical specifications.
- Follow technology and security best practices and standards.
- Provide post-implementation support, including application performance monitoring and debugging existing code.
- Evaluate advancements in technology and determine how new technologies can support business solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
- Minimum three years of experience in software development with strong skills in at least one key competency.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- DevOps experience building pipelines.
- Experience with VB in Microsoft Access and Excel.
- Python or PowerShell experience.
- Experience with NoSQL solutions such as MongoDB or Redis.
- Strong relational database knowledge and understanding of application integration practices.
- Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle; exposure to agile or iterative delivery approaches is preferred.
- Working knowledge of network or server infrastructure used to host applications.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Government of Canada Reliability Clearance (PERC).
- GenAI experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of NIST compliance is strongly desired.
- Strong communication, analytical, learning, and teamwork skills.
