Responsibilities

  • Develop enterprise-wide cross-functional software solutions.
  • Use SQL and object-oriented programming, preferably in a C# and .NET environment.
  • Perform full-stack development and participate in solution design.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical requirements, design documents, and technical specifications.
  • Follow technology and security best practices and standards.
  • Provide post-implementation support, including application performance monitoring and debugging existing code.
  • Evaluate advancements in technology and determine how new technologies can support business solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
  • Minimum three years of experience in software development with strong skills in at least one key competency.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • DevOps experience building pipelines.
  • Experience with VB in Microsoft Access and Excel.
  • Python or PowerShell experience.
  • Experience with NoSQL solutions such as MongoDB or Redis.
  • Strong relational database knowledge and understanding of application integration practices.
  • Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle; exposure to agile or iterative delivery approaches is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of network or server infrastructure used to host applications.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Government of Canada Reliability Clearance (PERC).
  • GenAI experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of NIST compliance is strongly desired.
  • Strong communication, analytical, learning, and teamwork skills.
