Responsibilities
- Own customer issues involving InfiniBand and NVLink switch deployments from inception through resolution.
- Develop features and tools supporting NVIDIA Enterprise Service offerings and networking products.
- Work with enterprise customers and internal users to improve networking product availability, reliability, and user experience.
- Analyze, document, recreate, and resolve networking product issues in collaboration with engineering.
- Provide technical solutions for complex datacenter networking installations, maintenance, and operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of system software development and troubleshooting experience, ideally including customer-facing work.
- Experience developing C in kernel space, application space, and/or embedded software.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting datacenter networking protocols and technologies including LACP, OSPF, BGP, EVPN, and VXLAN.
- Professional-level communication and interpersonal skills with strong analytical, problem-solving, collaborative, and customer-service abilities.
- Familiarity with InfiniBand and Ethernet networks, RDMA, RoCE, DPUs, HPC applications, MPI, UCX, and OVS is preferred.
- Deep analysis experience with IP, Layer 2 switching, and Layer 3 routing protocols including ARP, STP, LACP, MLAG, IGMP, PIM, BGP, and OSPF is preferred.
- Contributions to networking-related open-source projects are preferred.
