Base Salary
$65k - $117k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with business analysts and technical leads to clarify requirements and define technical solutions.
- Analyze business needs and prepare technical designs, estimates, and development plans.
- Develop, review, and enhance applications using RPGLE, RPGILE, CLLE, and SYNON in AS400/IBM i environments.
- Create and execute unit test plans, resolve defects, and support QA and regression testing.
- Support deployments, production releases, post-implementation activities, and post-production or warranty-period support.
Requirements
- Strong experience working in AS400/IBM i development environments.
- Hands-on expertise with RPGLE and RPGILE programming.
- Proficiency in CLLE development and system-level programming.
- Experience developing and maintaining applications using SYNON.
- Ability to participate in analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and production support throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Experience preparing technical estimates and solution designs is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and defect-resolution skills are preferred.
- Experience supporting QA, regression testing, production deployments, and post-production activities is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical and business teams is preferred.
