Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical liaison among project managers, solution architects, customers, users, executive sponsors, product teams, and support teams.
- Conduct functional analysis sessions and develop functional solutions for customer needs.
- Deliver WMS product implementation, enhancement, managed services, integration, and custom project services.
- Provide configuration, environment setup, software installation, reporting and label generation, operational consulting, troubleshooting, system testing, programming, quality assurance, and design review.
- Coordinate knowledge transfer, customer communications, product feedback, post-go-live stabilization, and value realization.
- Resolve complex issues, support base functional issue responses, and maintain customer, partner, and consultant relationships.
- Contribute to the functional consulting practice through practice aids, databases, and best-practice collateral.
- Ensure compliance with company methodologies and travel and expense procedures.
Requirements
- 15+ years of corporate experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or another relevant discipline.
- Expertise in WMS functional configuration, technical integration, quality assurance, system testing, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience configuring a WMS product, preferably JDA/RedPrairie WMS.
- Knowledge of interfaces between WMS and ERP/host, TMS, WLM, transportation and tracking, parcel, and third-party systems.
- Knowledge of integrations between WMS and voice, material handling, and ASRS systems.
- In-depth knowledge of resolving issues through trace files.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems, client/server technology, ERP systems, integration and middleware technologies, databases, platforms, and infrastructures.
- Ability to resolve complex problems independently with minimal guidance and communicate with and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Understanding of Blue Yonder's product suite and its relationships and touchpoints for customers.
- Travel readiness based on business needs.
