Base Salary
$262k - $354k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive customer, business, and technology outcomes by identifying and advancing key opportunities across the company.
- Lead significant technology initiatives end-to-end, including horizontal architectural layers.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to design and deliver end-to-end solutions for customer problems.
- Design and implement durable, robust, scalable, secure, highly available, and performant software solutions.
- Guide the applicability of AI to customer problems and evaluate the value and limitations of AI technologies.
- Understand and use evaluation tools to measure solution accuracy and assess AI models and technologies.
- Collaborate with architecture, product management, operations, and other teams on design, development, integration, testing, and release.
- Contribute to engineering standards, patterns, best practices, industry trend recommendations, technology prototypes, patent proposals, and process improvements.
- Mentor engineers and influence technical and non-technical stakeholders across cross-functional and global teams.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience developing systems or software for large business environments.
- 7+ years of experience designing complex distributed systems, management products, or business applications.
- Full-stack development experience applying AI technologies and tools to user experiences or backend solutions.
- Experience with AI technologies such as SageMaker, Vert.x, LangChain, large language models, Prompt Engineering, DialogFlow, and Python.
- Experience with at least one listed frontend technology: React, Angular, SwiftUI, or Kotlin.
- Experience with at least one listed backend technology: Java, TypeScript, Spring, or Express with Node.js.
- At least 1 year of experience working on teams that built AI-native applications.
- Prior experience in a cloud computing environment such as AWS or GCP is highly desired.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related area.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, mentoring, collaboration, independent decision-making, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in complex, fast-paced technical environments and with global teams across time zones.
Benefits
- Expected base pay range for Mountain View is $261,500–$353,500.
- Eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits in accordance with applicable plans and programs.
- Work location stated as Mountain View.
