Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy software features and enhancements.
- Develop and maintain generative AI capabilities within enterprise AI platforms under governance and risk guidelines.
- Build AI-assisted tooling to improve how associates find information and complete work.
- Develop Slack applications and automated workflows integrating enterprise tools and engineering systems.
- Contribute to technical design, code reviews, debugging, documentation, and software quality processes.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineering leads, and cross-functional teams to deliver sprint goals.
- Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of professional software development experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in one or more of Java, Python, JavaScript, or Go.
- Experience building and shipping software products or features.
- Experience developing LLM or generative AI applications using prompt engineering, RAG, or agentic workflows.
- Experience with Slack app development, workflow automation, Slack API, Bolt SDK, or Workflow Builder.
- Knowledge of enterprise AI governance and model risk principles.
- Familiarity with software testing frameworks and methodologies.
- Understanding of Git and CI/CD concepts.
- Basic knowledge of SQL or NoSQL database technologies.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, debugging, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience with GCP Vertex AI, AI/ML or LLM-based application development, or workflow-automation platforms is preferred.
