
Software Engineer II - AIML
Bristol Myers SquibbResponsibilities
- Develop Generative AI solutions using large language models for text generation, summarization, retrieval-augmented generation, and intelligent assistants.
- Implement agentic AI systems and multi-agent workflows for complex automation and decision-making.
- Design, build, and deploy machine learning models for classification, regression, natural language processing, and other AI use cases.
- Build and maintain AI pipelines from data ingestion through model inference and serving.
- Use evaluation tools and platforms to assess AI and machine learning solutions.
- Write clean, scalable, production-ready Python code.
- Build AI applications with LangChain, LangGraph, and Pydantic AI.
- Manage source code, branching strategies, and workflows using GitHub.
- Collaborate with team members using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Develop Databricks data pipelines, ML workflows, and AI applications as needed.
- Build or contribute to internal AI-powered web applications using ReactJS as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of progressively responsible experience in an IT technical role.
- Experience developing and deploying machine learning solutions with Scikit-learn, NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch, and TensorFlow/Keras.
- Experience with Generative AI and agentic frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Pydantic AI, and LlamaIndex.
- Familiarity with LLM platforms including Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, and Google Vertex AI.
- Ability to develop scalable production software and AI pipelines.
