Base Salary
$157k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own significant backend systems end-to-end, ensuring high standards for architecture and production health.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to shape requirements and provide input on solutions.
- Apply 0-to-1 product thinking to create impactful tools for clients and attorneys.
- Mentor engineers on backend patterns and best practices.
- Work across the stack, including frontend UI and data systems as needed.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in building production software, preferably in a startup environment.
- Experience on a high-performing product team, collaborating with PMs and designers.
- Proven ability to design and operate reliable, scalable backend systems and APIs.
- Strong user empathy and consideration for the end-users of the products.
- A track record of mentoring engineers and fostering team growth.
