Base Salary
$153k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and deploy scalable backend services for Robinhood Wallet
- Develop product-facing features and platform enhancements meeting strict correctness and scalability standards
- Improve system performance, engineering productivity, and risk reduction
- Collaborate with client teams, product managers, designers, security professionals, and external vendors
- Mentor engineers and raise technical standards through design reviews, architecture discussions, and hands-on leadership
- Deliver reliable and secure systems for cryptocurrency and tokenized-stock trading products
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Expertise in backend development using Go, Python, or Java
- Deep knowledge of cloud-native architectures, system design, data modeling, and software engineering fundamentals
- Ability to simplify complex problems, make sound tradeoffs, and drive alignment across product, engineering, and design teams
- Track record of delivering high-quality end-to-end products and raising team-wide technical standards
- Experience with a DeFi protocol, crypto wallet company, or blockchain-related company is a bonus
- Familiarity with EVM blockchains and smart contracts is a bonus
