Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend solutions.
- Contribute to the evolution of the existing architecture and improve performance, security, and code quality.
- Collaborate with frontend, product, and mobile teams to ensure smooth integration across components.
- Mentor and technically support junior developers on backend standards and development practices.
- Maintain code quality through thorough code reviews and automated unit and integration testing.
- Monitor technology trends and propose continuous improvements to practices and tools.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of backend development experience.
- Strong knowledge of backend development practices, design patterns, testing, documentation, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Comfort working with cloud environments and services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong skills in code quality, automated testing, and performance optimization.
- Ability to provide technical guidance and promote rigorous, collaborative development practices.
- Startup experience, ideally in fintech, is a plus.
- AWS serverless experience is optional.
- Interest in DevOps practices.
