Responsibilities
- Design, develop, customize, implement, and maintain complex integrations between Workday and internal, external, and third-party systems.
- Build integrations using Workday Studio, Workday Cloud Connect, pre-built connectors, APIs, EIB, Core Connectors, PECI, Workday Extend, and Orchestration.
- Develop integration workflows, transformation logic, data mappings, and software components that automate business processes and synchronize data.
- Deploy integration solutions to production while minimizing downtime and disruption.
- Support data migration from legacy systems into Workday and connected external systems.
- Update integrations for Workday quarterly releases and manage release impact assessments and required changes.
- Provide production support, monitor integrations, resolve inbound and outbound issues, and lead incident resolution.
- Collaborate with business analysts, functional teams, technical teams, stakeholders, vendors, and service providers to define requirements and resolve issues.
- Make architectural decisions and propose design patterns that support scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, system designs, architecture diagrams, and code documentation.
- Guide and mentor developers, analysts, and technical staff on Workday integration tools and processes.
- Identify emerging Workday features, tools, frameworks, and techniques to improve integration efficiency and scalability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience building Workday integrations with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, PECI, and related tools.
- At least 5 years of experience partnering with technical and non-technical stakeholders, managing multiple projects, and communicating effectively in writing and verbally.
- At least 5 years of experience resolving complex technical issues involving Workday integrations.
- At least 5 years of experience with Workday SOAP API, REST API, JSON, and Import API patterns.
- At least 1 year of experience with Workday Extend and Orchestration.
- At least 1 year of demonstrated proficiency in Workday reporting, calculated fields, and Workday Studio.
- At least 1 year of experience with Workday security, Core HCM business processes, and alerts.
- Workday Integrations Pro certification preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
