Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate low-latency services that personalize Prime value messages across high-traffic pages and 26 countries.
- Build data pipelines and third-party integrations for delivering Prime messaging through advertising, social media, and partner sites.
- Collaborate with applied scientists on learned ranking signals, serving paths, and measurement.
- Build configuration and launch tooling to replace manual deployment steps and support live experimentation.
- Own services through design, implementation, deployment, operational health, and readiness for Prime Day and holiday traffic peaks.
- Translate broadly defined problems into technical designs and production code.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full-stack development experience.
